A Fitting Halloween

November 3, 2014

How many people can fit into the same outfit at age 14 and then again at 35? Not me. But Parker donned his old Halloween costume, sported four years ago. He helped greet all of the trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood as well as many dressed up dogs. He was a big Halloween hit with kids, adults and our four-legged visitors.

Dog-Friendly Denver

May 29, 2012

We packed our bags, as well as our Cavalier, and headed west to Denver. After checking into the dog-friendly Curtis Hotel, we began our Rocky Mountain adventure. Parker posed for a snapshot, which they posted on their K-9 Club welcome board. Meeting up with family and friends, with Parker in tow, we toured the vibrant downtown Denver scape, the red rocks of the Garden of the Gods, the cobble-stone streets of Vail and the scenic town of Boulder. On a scale from one to 10, we give Denver and the surrounding area a rating of 10. We loved the health-conscious, outdoor-focused, dog-inviting city/state. If you want to travel with your pet, I wholeheartedly recommend The Centennial State.
