It’s Us and the Dog

After watching an “It’s Me or the Dog” episode where Victoria chastised a couple for traveling with their dogs in the back seat, free to roam, it made me take a serious look at how we traveled with Parker. She notes that if you are in an accident, the dog – if unbuckled – would travel like a missile through the windshield. Not a great thought, huh? We did buckle Parker into a hard plastic pet carrier in the back seat. But, Victoria said the best option is to use a harness, buckling up a pet just like a passenger. Parker took to his new harness immediately. Now, he travels in the back seat, looking to the right and left out the car windows. Or, he quietly snoozes. Thanks for the great tip, Victoria.
